Cross country begins season near Temple Terrace on Friday

Falcon cross country begins its second season on Friday, September 5 with a meet at the UT Early Bird Classic in Brandon, Fla. This meet will be the closest of the year, approximately thirty minutes from Temple Terrace. The women’s team has seven runners this year and are led by freshman Emily Nelson. Leading the returning Falcons for the men are sophomores Cameron Aly and Jackson Wiley. Aly placed second at the 2007 nationals, Wiley placed fourth. The team looks for returning member sophomore Stephen Rouse, freshman Stephen Clark and sophomore Braedon Hilliard to round out the top five for the FC men.

Support the cross country team on Friday evening in Brandon. The men’s team runs at 6:00 PM and the women run at 6:40 PM. Directions are available in the student center next to the mailroom.
